Marketing Intern

Based in Glasgow - FTC 1.5 - 2 month

We are seeking a Marketing Graduate for a 1.5 - 2 month period to assist in the delivery of a major marketing project/event. This key industry event will take place on 19-20 June in Manchester, and we require an additional resource to ensure we maximise the planning and promotion in the run-up to the event, as well as effective delivery during the event.

About the event
ORE Catapult is a strategic event partner of the Global Offshore Wind 2018 event, organised by industry body Renewable UK. The Catapult is planning a major presence at this event, taking a central role in the conference programme, as well as hosting 12 SMEs on a ‘Game Changers’ pavilion. This is the largest event of the year in the offshore wind calendar and we want to ensure we are taking advantage of this platform to further reinforce ORE Catapult’s role and impact in the industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the planned marketing activity in the run-up to the event
  • Administrative support to deliver campaign communications where required
  • Administrative support around the management of the ORE Catapult Game Changers pavilion
  • Support with the logistical side of managing an exhibition stand
  • Managing the desk at the pavilion and managing the meeting room schedules
  • Ensuring that the pavilion remains tidy, with marketing materials available at all times

What we are looking for
If you are a confident, presentable and enthusiastic Marketing Graduate, keen to gain some valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you. This opportunity will offer a real insight into the planning and delivery of a major event, and provide exposure to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, so a passion for events would be an advantage.

The role will be full time , and we envisage a start date around mid-late April and an end date in late June. The intern will report directly to the Marketing Communications Manager.

Closing Date:  19th April 2018
