Regional Partnership Manager


The Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult (ORE Catapult) is one of a number of Catapults set up by Innovate UK to accelerate the deployment of innovative technology in the UK.

With primary locations in Glasgow and Blyth, Northumberland, ORE Catapult is working with industry and academia to identify, develop, prove and de-risk promising new technologies and bring them to market. It is helping to reduce the cost of offshore renewable energy, supporting the growth of the industry and creating UK benefit.

What is the role?

We are currently looking for a Regional Partnership Manager who will promote ORE Catapult activity through proactive engagement with industry to identify potential collaborative and bilateral projects and programmes. 

The position can be primarily based out of the Humberside Area

What are my key responsibilities?

  • Develop a regional plan for the HUMBER Region and East of England Region

  • Build and maintain senior level strategic relationships with key clients

  • Working with the Senior Partnership Manager to support O & M related activity across the UK.

  • To support delivery of O & M projects, with a particular reference to activity in the Humber and East of England region

  • Support the development of commercial products and services across the O & M area

  • Work with the O & M Strategy Manager to enhance the ORE Catapult’s O & M area

  • Develop key evidence and analysis work to prioritise and shape new programmes

  • Work with technology developers and academia to help create projects which will commercialise their technologies and secure investment

  • Develop and build a strong network both regionally and within the sector

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Degree or equivalent in engineering, business or other appropriate discipline

  • Understanding of the Offshore Energy Sector

  • Understanding of public and private sector funding models

  • Ability to collate, assess and analyse industry priorities and other data

  • Experience of developing projects with multiple participants including work package definition and commercial terms
